Quick Kitchen Tip of the Day

Even though I love cooking, there are some kitchen tasks that just are not all that fun. Peeling shrimp is one of those things.  I was just peeling some shrimp and accidentally found that if you start to peel the shells off of the shrimp about half way, then tug gently on the tail end, the rest of the shell and the tail peel off very easily…still a monotonous job, but anything to save more time for the fun stuff!!

    Always hated peeling shrimp!! I just pay the extra money for the pre-shelled and de-veined ones!! But I will remember that tip.
